Breaking All The Rules

Here is some of the scrapping I've been doing over the last few days. These two pages are the 2nd & 3rd projects for the Scrapware DT Call. Here they are.

I was inspired to make a little Wedding dress for this torso after visiting the Scrapware blog and seeing their creations. I only wish I was as easy to frock up as the cute little dress form was.

As you can see both of these layouts break the rules. One has no photos the other has no journalling. Regardless I think they communicate their message well enough.

Scrapware DT Call

Well I was very brave this Week.

I applied for the Scrapware DT call. I talked my self out of it about 4 times, even once today, but in the end i decided to do it. I figured that a chance, no mater how slim a chance, to play with scrapware every month was just to good an opportunity to pass up. Plus Scrapware has some of the best (and friendliest, i have recently found out) Scrappers in Oz on the DT.

But don't take my word for it though check them out. The Scrapware Blog & the Scrapware Ning

Here one of the things i submitted - a little photo book of my Kiddies

I really wish i hadn't Missed the tape you can see on the inside page. I had it covered the took it off to do some thing else. Oh well I'll fix it i the AM

This Pic shows the destruction i wrought upon some unsuspecting chip leaves and flower. Watch this space for some step by step instructions so you can do it yourself.

Tomorrow I'll show of the pages I submitted too.

Cheers and thanks for stopping by ;)

Some scrapping to share

Hello again friends. I have a couple of pages to show off.

This Page has come about because i can never get my girls to smile pretty at the same time. I decided that if I only scrapped the perfect photos I'd probably get very little done. So here they are Aster and Xanthe with both smiling and dopey faces.

This next LO has some of my favorite techniques - distressing and inking naturally, Plus I've made some handmade flowers, shaped chipboard, used rub-ons on acetate and distressed my photo.

All in all this is very "me" page. Right down to the atrocious hand writing that I'm sure gets 5 times worst when I'm journaling.

The journaling reads " Be to her virtues a little bit kind, be to her faults a little bit blind."

This is my 3 year old Daughter Xanthe having a wonderful time at Emu Park Beach late last year.
